Rushton Road: Current Project. The section of Rushton Road from Nine Mile Rd to Doane was chosen by the Township this year for re-paving due to its condition and the amount of vehicle trips per day. Drainage was improved along the full route of the construction and 4" of 13A Modified HMA mix was applied along with restoration of the gravel shoulders. this project was finished the week of August 27,2012. 

Estimated Cost - $650,000: $500,000 Green Oak Township, $150,000 LCRC
Vehicle Trips per day - 6,400

9 Mile Road: The 9 Mile Road paving project consisted of paving the gravel section from the intersection of Rushton Road and traveling east to the intersection of Dixborro Road. The project not only involved paving but also curb & gutter drainage and the installation of a box culvert at Nichwag lake along with special mats under the pavement in the swampy areas.

Maltby Road: The Maltby Road paving project consisted of paving the gravel section from the intersection of Rickett Road and traveling west to the Township Line. The project not only involved paving but also curb & gutter drainage and special mats under the pavement in the swampy areas. This was a partnership between, Brighton Area Schools, LCRC, Huron Clinton Metro Parks, Hamburg Township and Green Oak Township.
East Shore Drive: The East Shore Drive Road paving project consisted of paving the old paved section from the intersection of Washtenaw County line and traveling north to the intersection with 9 Mile Road. The project consisted of crushing, leveling and re-paving with paved shoulders. 
North Main - Whitmore Lake: The North Main Road paving project consisted of paving the old paved section from the intersection of Washtenaw County line and traveling north to the intersection with Kenton Drive. The project consisted of crushing, leveling and re-paving with paved shoulders.

Bishop Road: The Bishop Road improvement project consisted of re-graveling with limestone all of Bishop Road. 
Peer Road: The Peer Road improvement project consisted of re-graveling Peer Road from 10 Mile Road to 12 Mile Road. 
Rushton Road - re-gravel: The Rushton Road project consisted of re-graveling and drainage improvements from the intersection at 9 Mile Road south to 8 Mile Road.

8 Mile Road: The 8 Mile Road improvement project consisted of drainage improvements and re-graveling 8 Mile Road from Rushton Road east to Dixborro Road.
