The Johnson farm house was built by Samuel Johnson in the late half of the 19th century. It faces north on Nine Mile Road across from Nichwagh Lake. It is typical of farm homes with gabled wings being added. There is a barn on the property and, in the past, an orchard grew on the west side of the property.
